Strategic Procurement Operations Consultant The position for strategic procurement operations consultant is meant to help optimize, integrate, advise and execute strategy that adds value to the sales, purchasing and logistics departments at BD Electronics in Malta. The daily job involves dealing with purchasers to make strategic buying decisions , while also has a strong focus on building strong customer relationships that help them succeed in their sourcing objectives. This position will be pivotal in improving our relationships with clients in Africa and Suppliers in Asia. Responsibilities: • Managing customer client base on the CRM system BITRIX . • Direct consulting on client projects that require electronic components • Optimizing procurement systems and selling methods for higher integration • Directing purchasing agents and buyers throughout the process of evaluating suppliers, conducting interviews with vendors, negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier and vendor contracts • Extensive evaluation of rapport from sales and purchasing departments • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships • Coordination of logistics activities to ensure that clients receive their parts promptly • Processing all documents for the purchasing department including invoicing, quotations, and client offers. • Assisting management with other related procurement tasks and responsibilities when asked • Responsible for contractual evaluations with vendors, and making sure all orders comply to internal control methods • Accomplishes project objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing project action plans for customers. • You will also be responsible for contractual onboarding of clients in the CRM. Requirements: • The applicant must have 2 years’ international experience in procurement or business development arena • A bachelor in degree in Commerce is mandatory, while further studies will also be embraced • The applicant must be proficient in BITRIX CRM platform, General and Customized • Fluency in English and knowledge of German are language are prerequisites, addition European or African languages will be advantageous. • Knowledge of the African market is crucial for this position • You must be able to manage projects and work in high paced environment • Outstanding problem-solving skills as well as analytical capabilities • Team spirit, strong organizational, oral and written communication skills • Flexibility to adapt to an intellectually challenging but rewarding job • Proven track record in successfully leading Supply chain and procurement optimization and development programs.
